The Initiated

The Initiated was conceived in 2005 in Uppsala, north of Stockholm in Sweden. The band consists of guitarist Andreas Pallüth and singer Gabriella Lindmark.

The sound brings your thoughts to rock/folk music with a touch of country. The way in which the band presents the music is highly originial and the compositions are mostly out of the ordinary. “The intent is to be different in a good way, and write songs that leave no one unaffected”, says lead singer/ lyricist Gabriella Lindmark. “The lyrics mirror the way we look at life and how we feel about this world, though sometimes they can be totally fictional and out of the blue”, she says with a mysterious smile.

Their work so far has consisted in composing music and writing lyrics for their upcoming album. The future of the band looks bright, with fans already gathering all over the country and the two front figures of the band are positive and confident about their forthcoming success.
